Mission Statement

St. Augustine Church

We are the CHURCH on Barry Square

We come from many cultures and languages 

in the Greater Hartford area.

Formed as one through the waters of Baptism

and nourished by God’s Word and the Eucharist.

We are called to proclaim the Good News to all

especially the young, our elder community and those 

in greatest need.

We are called to be Christ in the City.

Goals:

To  support  the mission of St. Augustine School

To evangelize our neighborhood in new and exciting ways

To respond to the immediate needs of the poor

To cooperate with people of good will in the pursuit of justice

Somos la Iglesia de Barry Square

Venimos desde muchas culturas e idiomas

de la región metropolitana de Hartford.

Formados  como un solo cuerpo por las aguas del bautismo e alimentado  por la Palabra de Dios y la Eucaristía

Estamos llamados para proclamar la Buena Noticia a todo el mundo, especialmente hacía los  jóvenes, nuestra comunidad anciana  y a los más necesitados.

Somos llamados para ser Cristo en la ciudad.

Metas

Apoyar la misión del Colegio San Agustín

Evangelizar nuestro vecindario en unas maneras nuevas y creativas

Responder a  las necesidades inmediatas de los pobres

Cooperar con todos de buena voluntad en la lucha por la justicia
